      Broken power pins on Acer Laptops

Has your laptop power jack broken? Look at this image above. As you can clearly see the power pin has been completely broken inside the laptop. Sometimes this pick breaks off completely. Often it just becomes very loose and sometimes it will charge and others it will not. What causes this problem ?.
